It was a Tuesday afternoon — our wedding day to be exact — when we looked at each other and said, “Why are we waiting?”. That was the moment. No more pushing it aside. We launched INVIA as the best wedding gift we could give ourselves: the commitment to take action on what had been chasing us for years.

We didn’t plan to start INVIA.
For two years, it kept tapping us on the shoulder — and we kept pushing it away. We told ourselves we were too busy building our youth leadership company, Because Of Why. But no matter how many times we pivoted, media kept calling us back.

Before INVIA, we were serial entrepreneurs — reselling vintage and modern collectibles as teenagers during the chaos of COVID, navigating industries we quickly realized weren’t aligned with who we were or the people we kept meeting. Then came years of leadership coaching, where we helped teens grow into confident, driven leaders. And yet, media was always in the background, waiting for us to step fully into it.

Just ask Carmen's mom... She was grounded in the 6th grade with no phone until the 9th grade for growing a social media account to over 2,000 followers!
